This Privacy Policy explains how Sweetparty collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when users access our live social, messaging, voice/video interaction, virtual gift, and in-app purchase services.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Sweetparty ("Sweetparty," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

Sweetparty is a live social and entertainment application that may include social networking, real-time messaging, voice/video interaction, live streaming, virtual gifts, in-app purchases, party rooms, and user-generated content.

By accessing or using Sweetparty, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices, push notifications, email, or other appropriate means before or when the changes take effect.

Age restriction: Sweetparty is not intended for users under the age of 18.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: nickname, user ID, profile photo, gender, age, country or region, login method, and account settings.
  • Profile and Media Content: photos, avatars, voice recordings, short audio clips, live-stream materials, chat content, room introductions, and other content you upload or submit.
  • Social Activity Data: follows, fans, friends, private messages, party room activity, live-stream participation, video/voice call records, virtual gift sending or receiving records, likes, comments, reports, blocks, and interaction history.
  • Financial and Purchase Information: virtual coin balance, purchase history, recharge records, subscription status, VIP membership status, gift transaction records, and order identifiers. Payment card details are generally processed by app stores or third-party payment providers, and we do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.
  • Customer Support Information: information you provide when contacting support, submitting feedback, reporting users, or requesting account assistance.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: device brand, device model, operating system, system version, device identifiers, Android ID, IDFA where permitted, app version, package name, language, time zone, CPU information, memory usage, battery status, and SDK version.
  • Network and Technical Information: IP address, network type, carrier information, Wi-Fi or cellular signal status, connection logs, crash logs, error codes, latency, packet loss, bitrate, and other diagnostic data.
  • Usage Information: pages viewed, features used, browsing records within the app, live room participation, message activity, call activity, gift activity, search activity, and interaction timestamps.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: where applicable, cookies, SDK identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies for login status, security, analytics, attribution, and service optimization.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Service Delivery: to create accounts, provide login, messaging, live streaming, voice/video calls, party rooms, virtual gifts, in-app purchases, VIP services, and user profile features.
  • Safety, Anti-Fraud, and Security: to detect spam, fraud, abuse, fake accounts, payment risks, cheating, policy violations, account theft, and suspicious technical activity.
  • Customer Support: to respond to inquiries, process complaints, handle user reports, troubleshoot issues, and manage account deletion requests.
  • Personalization and Recommendations: to recommend hosts, live rooms, party rooms, content, friends, activities, and features that may be relevant to you.
  • Internal Analytics: to understand app performance, user engagement, feature quality, crash rates, conversion, retention, and operational trends.

4. Third-Party SDKs & Data Sharing

Sweetparty uses third-party SDKs and service providers to support login, messaging, voice/video communication, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, crash analysis, payment processing, and security operations.

We require third-party service providers to process data only for authorized purposes and, where appropriate, to apply data minimization, pseudonymization, anonymization, aggregation, or de-identification measures.

5. Device Permissions

Sweetparty may request the following device permissions. You may manage permissions through your device settings, but disabling certain permissions may limit app functionality.

  • Photos / Storage: used to upload profile photos, send images, save or cache media, and improve video or image loading performance.
  • Microphone: required for voice calls, party rooms, voice chat, live interaction, and audio features.
  • Camera: required for video calls, live streaming, profile photo capture, and video interaction.
  • Push Notifications: used to send messages, call invitations, party room notifications, live reminders, system notices, security alerts, and activity updates.
  • Overlay / Floating Window Permission: used, where available, to keep voice interaction or party room audio accessible when you leave the app or switch screens.
  • Device and Network Information: used for security risk control, anti-fraud, device compatibility, network quality monitoring, base-station or signal diagnostics, crash analysis, and service optimization.
  • Network Access: required to connect to Sweetparty services, messaging, live streaming, voice/video calls, purchases, and account features.

6. Data Sharing & Security

We may share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: for cloud hosting, messaging, audio/video communication, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, payment processing, customer support, security, and technical operations.
  • With Other Users: when you choose to publish profile information, join live rooms, enter party rooms, send messages, make calls, send gifts, or otherwise interact socially.
  • For Legal Compliance: when required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, police investigation, regulatory request, or other valid legal process.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
  • With Your Consent: when you authorize a specific disclosure.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, risk monitoring, and security review procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service operation, account management, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax and accounting requirements, and security protection.

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, aggregate, or otherwise process it in a manner that prevents identification, unless retention is required by law.

After account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, anti-fraud, transaction records, or enforcement of our terms.

9. Children's Privacy

Sweetparty is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to register or use the service.

If we become aware that a user under 18 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and related personal information, unless retention is required by law. Parents or guardians who believe that a minor has used Sweetparty should contact us at developer@xiaoxigeek.com.

10. International Data Transfers

Sweetparty may process and store information in countries or regions outside your place of residence. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, data minimization, encryption, access controls, and other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

For California residents, the CCPA/CPRA may provide rights to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
